2024 STUDENT ART & PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
Dear PYLUSD High School Art/Photography Student,
The Yorba Linda Woman’s Club is pleased to announce its 2024 Student Art & Photography Contest! We will be awarding $9500 in prize money, with individual prizes ranging from $100 to $500, and a “Best of Show” prize of $1000!
Your art/photography instructors have been given the contest rules, entry forms, plus additional information. Please contact them for all of the details for entering! The timeline for the contest is as follows:
There are two (2) entry divisions:
There are five (5) categories in each division:

Note: Each entrant must attend a PYLUSD High School.
All entries must be completed during the 2023-2024 school year.

- Monday, April 29: Art/Photography delivered to Yorba Linda Presbyterian Church,
- Tuesday, April 30: Adjudication takes place. Non-winning art is picked up.
- Wednesday, May 01: Winners/Parents notified via phone, text, or email.
- Thursday, May 02: Winning entries taken to the Yorba Linda Community Center.
- Thursday, May 02: Awards Ceremony at the Yorba Linda Community Center.
There are two (2) entry divisions:
- Division 1: Grades 11 and 12
- Division 2: Grades 9 and 10
There are five (5) categories in each division:
- Drawing: Pencil, pen and ink, colored marker, chalk, and scratchboard
- Painting: Oil, watercolor, acrylic and mixed media
- Photography: Color, black and white, digital
- 3-D Art: Sculpture, ceramic and other 3-D media not computer-generated
- Digital and Graphic: All artwork created via computer/digital graphics, including 3-D artwork
Awards for each category in each division:
- First Place: Division 1 = $500 Division 2 = $350
- Second Place: Division 1 = $350 Division 2 = $250
- Third Place: Division 1 = $150 Division 2 = $100
- Best of Show: $1000!
Note: Each entrant must attend a PYLUSD High School.
